My name is Owen Quayle and I’m a Photographer and Journalism student at Wayne State University. I’m from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I worked as the news editor for my highschool newspaper, Knight Life, my senior year. I have a lot of interests and they constantly fluctuate, which is why i am drawn to photography and Journalism. I greatly enjoy documenting things I find interesting and important, or just cool to look at. I especially enjoy photographing the architecture surrounding Wayne State’s campus. Some of my other interests include music, fashion, skating/snowboarding, and drawing. My end goal would be to work as independently as possible, having my own publication being the ultimate form of that goal. But above anything else I want to maintain my own integrity and continue to talk about the things that I find important, no matter how I do it.
